The Madea's Witness Protection actor opened up on his feelings over the shameful behavior of the paparazzi after the soul diva's death in February.

"It was so blatantly disrespectful," Perry told Pier Morgan on CNN of the paparazzi who tried to take pictures of Whitney after her death.

"I understand she was a superstar, but she didn't deserve to be treated that way in the media toward the end."

The movie producer supplied the plane for the deceased singer's casket and explained how it was hounded by photographers ahead of the ceremony.

"We tried to send a hearse as a decoy. They found out we had the body in a van and there were paparazzi 50 deep following the van. I had to move the plane into the hangar, close the door and bring the van in."

Perry also went on to reveal that even one of the hired van drivers tried to cash in on the legend's death and was caught trying to take pictures of Whitney being transferred onto the plane.

"It was just beyond disrespectful for her family and everyone else,"  he said.
