Shyne Says Jennifer Lopez Owes Hims For Club Shooting

BHR HollyWood Report Shyne has insisted Jennifer Lopez owes him for protecting her during the infamous club shooting in 1999.

The 33-year-old has suggested that if he wasn't armed on that night, the consequences for the 'On The Floor' singer may have been fatal, alluding that the Latino might have been killed.

"I wasn't thugging and bugging that night, you dig," Shyne told WGIV in an interview.

"I was actually the best behaved because I don't drink and I don't smoke. You dig? But I'm from the streets so when it's time for my hammer to go off, it goes off."

Shyne served a nine-year prison term for the shooting that took place at Times Square nightclub in which P. Diddy and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez were witnesses.

"Somebody was getting ready to pop ol' boy's head off. It might not have been no Jennifer Lopez movies or none of that if I didn't pull my ratchet and squeeze off."

It was alos reported this week that Bay Boy founder Diddy paid out $1 million to victims of the shooting in a quiet settlement.
