Rita Ora Racks Up Four MOBO Award Nominations



BHR HollyWood Report Rita Ora has been nominated for a hefty four MOBOs at this year's celebration of music of black origin.

The 'Hot Right Now' singer has managed to rack up four MOBO nominations for the Best Newcomer, Best Album, Best Video for 'RIP' featuring Tinie Tempah and Best Female against fellow newcomers Tulisa and Jessie J.

With singers Labrinth, Misha B and Rebecca Fergurson in the running to bag a MOBO, leading this year's MOBO award nominations was 'Next To Me' songstress Emeli Sandé and Plan B.

The 'Heaven' hitmaker is up for Best Female, Best R&B/Soul Act, Best Video, Best Song and Album while the Ill Manors rapper is up for Best video also, Best Song, Best Album and Best Male and Best Hip-Hop/Grime Act.

MOBO founder Kanya King MBE said, "We are very excited about the nominations for the for the 17th MOBO Awards."

"The talent this year has been truly exceptionl and we are so proud to be flying the flag for urban music…Good luck to all those nominated!"  added the MOBOs founder.

The 17th MOBO awards will be taking place at the Liverpool Echo Arena on November 3.

Other nominees include Rizzle Kicks, Wiley, Jay Z, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj in this years list.
