No More drugs and ballin'!!!DMX Talks Becoming A Deacon At His Church

BHR HollyWood Report Rapper DMX has revealed that he is now a man of God after being made a Deacon at his church.

Talking to Global Grind, the 'X Gon’ Give It To Ya' rapper shared his reasons for leaving behind his past drug use and jail time to get involved in the church.

"I just been made a deacon at the church….The biggest step is not in the studying, reading, but the warning to change the way you live," the 41-year-old told the site.

Adding, "I just find myself happy with the simple things. Appreciating the blessings God gave me. Enjoying my kids more – just changing."

Opening up about his decision to change his ways, the Ruff Ryders rapper admitted the only thing unchanged is his turbulent relationship with ex-wife Tashera.

"We were friends, but I think she's very bitter," he shared.

"I cheated on her, but it wasn't anything new. I was the same way the whole time she knew me."

Well that's no excuse!
