Ne-Yo Reveals How Aunt Inspired Him To Write Beyonce's 'Irreplaceable'

BHR HollyWood Report Ne-Yo has revealed that his aunt was the reason behind Beyonce's hit track 'Irreplaceable'.

The 'Let Me Love You' singer dished on the orgins of the chart-topping hit during his televised interview with VH1's Behind the Music.

Recalling the moment he walked in on his aunt packing up the belongings of her unfaithful partner after asking him to leave, Ne-Yo admitted how the awkward moment spawned Bey's hit.

"I remember him coming to the house and him looking in the closet and going, 'Where's my this, where's my that?' and she said, 'Oh, in the box to the left of the closet,'" the star revealed.

"Everything you own is in that box and everything I bought is over here,'" Ne-Yo added.

Well, at least he was able to turn an unfortunate situation into a money-spinner. We wonder if Ne-Yo's aunt was fortunate enough to receive any of the royalties.
