Barack Obama Admits To Getting Teary Watching Michelle Obama's Speech

BHR HollyWood Report President Barack Obama has admitted that he becomes teary-eyed while watching his wife Michelle Obama give speeches.

The First Lady wowed the nation last night when she spoke at the Democratic National Convention ahead of the 2012 Elections, in which she aimed to persuade the country that Obama, who has occupied the office since 2008, is just an ordinary man who has been through struggles just like them.

"Barack knows the American Dream because he's lived it," Michelle told her audience.
"Today, after so many struggles and triumphs and moments that have tested my husband in ways I never could have imagined, I have seen firsthand that being president doesn't change who you are – it reveals who you are."

"I see the concern in his eyes ... and I hear the determination in his voice as he tells me, `You won't believe what these folks are going through, Michelle . it's not right. We've got to keep working to fix this. We've got so much more to do.'"

Speaking hours before Michelle, Barack, who watched the speech with the couple's two young daughters, says he didn't want them to see him cry at his wife's emotional speech.

"I'm going to try to not let them see their daddy cry because when Michelle starts talking, I start getting all misty," Barack said at a rally in Norfolk, Va.
