Snoop Dogg Requests Mariah Carey's $18M 'American Idol' Salary

BHR HollyWood Reports Snoop Dogg has become the latest celebrity to angle for a spot on the new American Idol judging panel.
Mariah Carey was announced as Jennifer Lopez's replacement on the show two weeks ago, and it seems Snoop - who also wants to be known as Snoop Lion in light of his departure from rap to reggae - is hoping to replace Steve Tyler or Randy Jackson.
During an interview earlier this week, Snoop said: "I'll do American Idol." When he was told that Mariah has signed an $18 million contract, Snoop jokingly yelled to his manager:
"Get on it!"
Earlier this week, it was rumoured that Pharrell Williams and Nick Jonas are in talks to also join the show.
