Whitney Houston's Mother Performs Tribute At BET Awards 2012 Emotional...

Whitney Houston was given a beautiful tribute last night at this year's BET Awards by a host of artists including her bereaved mother Cissy.
The legendary singer, who passed away in February at the age of 48, was honoured by one of her closest friends and mentorees Monica, who began the tribute segment with a stunning performance of 'I Love The Lord.'
Monica was followed by her frequent collaborator and also one of Whitney's closest pals, Brandy, who got the audience on their feet with a performance of Whitney's 'I'm Your Baby Tonight' and 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody.'
Whitney's family then came to the stage including her brother Gary who performed 'Where You Are.'
However, the audience were most moved by Whitney's grieving mother Cissy who gave a spine-tingling performance of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water.' Beyonce could be seen in the audience with tears streaming down her face while other celebrities such as Kanye West and Melanie Fiona were also moved.
Whitney's one-time collaborator Mariah Carey also gave a moving speech in which she shared some anecdotes about her experiences with the legend.  I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Reports
