BHR HollyWood Reports Usher is coping as best as he can after losing his stepson Kile Glover over the weekend, according to his Godfather.
The 'Climax' singer made the devastating choice along with Tameka Foster to turn off the 11-year-old’s life support machine on Saturday after he was struck on the head by a Jet ski and pronounced brain dead.
The singer's godfather - Broadway legend Ben Vereen - spoke to the Huffington Post on how the star is coping with the life-shattering news.
“I’m proud of [him] because he’s standing strong,” he said.
“It’s a terrible thing when a parent has to bury their child. No parent should ever have to bury his or her child.”
“I know because I buried one. So please continue your prayers for him and [his] family for strength and healing.”
