Rihanna has revealed that she wanted ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on the remix of 'Birthday Cake' because he is what she classes as "dirty."

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, the 'Where Have You Been' singer revealed her motivation in hooking up with Chris again on the track, three years after he physically assaulted her.

"I thought it would be cute to do it with guy. I wondered, who can be dirty, someone who people will really believe?" the 24-year-old said.

"Music is music and my fans have been asking me to record with him. I just felt like it was time. I didnt see it that way because I’m in a different place."

In the same interview, Rihanna admitted that she was afraid of experiencing the pain she did when she split from Chris in 2009.

Despite reports that she is reconciling with Chris, Rihanna claims she is single as her love life is "non-existent."  I'm Big Blac This is Your BHR HollyWood Reports
