Flo Rida Raises $1 Million For Breast Cancer Research He's All About Giving Back!

He's known for his club anthems, adrenaline-fuelled videos, and party lifestyle, but Miami rapper Flo Rida decided to share some of his chart-topping success for a worthy cause, by helping to raise $1 million for the breast cancer research.
Flo, who was a part of the Think Pink concert, decided to donate some of his proceeds towards breast cancer screening, treatment, and research.
Although his exact donation wasn't revealed, it's been suggested that the rapper raised around $1 million for the cause with the event.
To express their gratitude to the 32-year-old, organisers of the event surprised the rapper by showing up at Flo's July 3rd R U On The List tour at the Bank United Center in Miami last week, to personally thank the 'Whistle' hitmaker for his efforts.
"I’m so proud to be a part of the annual Think Pink Rocks concert and their mission to raise awareness about early detection and genetic testing for breast cancer," Flo Rida said in a statement released to XXL Magazine.
"It’s truly an honor to participate in such an outstanding event where all proceeds are donated to fund screening, treatment and research for breast cancer. I also salute the other artists who continue to dedicate their time to the Think Pink Rocks concert, our support has assisted in raising 1 million dollars to this worthy cause."
Flo, who has been active in the breast cancer community, has performed at various events and has used his celebrity status to help raise awareness in impoverished neighbourhoods about the importance of embracing preventative care for cancer.   I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Reports
