Jamie Foxx, Lauryn Hill & More Mourn Loss Of Yvette Wilson Stars Pay Tribute...



Actor Jamie Foxx and singer Lauryn Hill were just a number of celebrities to have paid tribute to late actress Yvette Wilson, who sadly lost her battle with cancer on Thursday (14 June).
The former Moesha star’s TV castmate Shar Jackson was among the first to break the news to fans on her Twitter account.
"Everyone plz send prayer and light to my sister and best friend Yvette Wilson. I need my prayer soldiers right now," Jackson tweeted.
"F*ck Cancer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh God. My heart is soooo unbelivably broken. I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but God has chosen to take my sister Yvette home,’’ she later added.
A score of Wilson’s celebrity friends also took to Twitter to express their condolences. Jamie Foxx wrote,
"God bless u Yvette Wilson. Tears in my eyes. Keep God laughing.’’
And 37-year-old ex-Fugees star Lauryn Hill also paid tribute, adding, "R.I.P Yvette Wilson... She recently lost her battle with cancer. Life is short, so cherish yours."
Yvette Wilson had been suffering for some time with stage 4 cervical cancer, and in recent years had battled kidney failure and undergone kidney transplants.
