Brandy Speaks Out Against Dance Music: 'We Need To Do More R&B' Hoping To Bring It Back To The Forefront...
'Put It Down' singer Brandy says R&Bsingers today need to bring the essence of the genre back and abandon the Euro-dance vibe they have going on.
The Grammy Award winning artist recently gave an interview with Kempire Radio where she expressed her desire to have R&B come back into mainstream like it once was.
''I just think the artists who know how to do R&B need to do more R&B,'' said the 33-year-old.
''That's all it is. It's going to take all the people that can actually do it that are out there, and hot right now, to do more R&B.''
Brandy did however point out a few artists out there who she felt were doing their respective parts to keep true R&B alive.
''I think Trey Songz is holding it down. KellyRowland is holding it down. I think Monica is holding it down on her end. I think it takes all of us to keep doing it until it comes back,'' Brandy said. I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report.
